The title by which the work is known without any qualifications or mention of any part. The subfield is mandatory.
The number of a part when the item to which the title is being applied is only a part of the work named in the title (see example 8). Repeatable for a subdivided part (see example 9).
The name of a part when the item to which the title is being applied is only a part of the work named in the title (see example 9). Repeatable for a subdivided part.
Standard phrase added to an access point to further specify the title (see example 1).
The language of the item when required as part of the title (see examples 1, 4, 8). If the work is in more than one language, enter all languages in a single subfield m (see example 11)
An identification of the version of the work represented by the item; this may be the name or the original date of the version (see example 1).
The instrumentation, etc., of the item (see example 10).
A number assigned by the composer or others to distinguish works. The number may be the serial, opus or thematic index number or date used as a number (see example 10).
The musical key used as part of the title (see example 10).
The statement that a musical work is an arrangement (see example 2).
The field contains the preferred form of a title formulated in accordance with the national descriptive cataloguing rules or subject system.
