    COBISS 2018 CONFERENCE

COBISS 2018 CONFERENCE Announcement

At the Institute of Information Science (IZUM) in Maribor, we are looking forward to this autumn, when the traditional international COBISS Conference will take place. The conference will be held at the IZUM premises in Maribor between 27 and 29 November 2018. The first day is intended only for Slovenian guests, the second day only for guests from the COBISS.net member states, and the third day for the meeting of the national COBISS centres.

We will discuss several interesting topics at the COBISS Conference. The main topic, School libraries in the global bibliographic information network, is intended for discussing the added value, represented by the inclusion of school libraries to the COBISS system. Competent speakers from Slovenia and abroad will also present some new features of the COBISS system and much more.

Of course, there will also be many opportunities for socialising and exchanging professional opinions, both as part of the program and during evening events.

There is no participation fee, but registration is required. We will inform you, when the details about the program will be known and when the website where you can register for the conference will be prepared. Until then, we kindly ask you to mark the 27 November (guests from Slovenia) or the 28 and 29 November (guests from the COBISS.net member states).

We are hereby cordially inviting you to the conference and we are looking forward to seeing you in Maribor in November.
