BASIC INDEX

It is possible to search through the complete basic index without using a search suffix. Search suffixes have been created for subfields that best display the content of the indexed document and are therefore most frequently used for searching. They can be used to limit the search to specific subfields.

Notes

AT=, CB=, ET=, FN=, FS=, GN=, PN=, SU=, TN=, UT=

AT=, CB=, ET=, FN=, FS=, GN=, PN=, SU=, TN=, UT= are used to index only those 4XX fields that do not contain subfield 2. Subfields of an individual field are indexed as one phrase and in the same order as in the database. Therefore, it is advisable to truncate the search term with the "*" character. The access points are indexed with all entered diacritics, which is why searching without them will not be successful.

SE=, SH=

Subfields of an individual field are indexed as one phrase and in the same order as in the database.

SF=

SF= is used to index only those 4XX fields that contain subfield 2. Subfields of an individual field are indexed as one phrase and in the same order as in the database. The only exception is subfield 3 that is indexed as an independent phrase.
