835 Deleted access point information

This field is used to record why the access point in the 2XX field is being deleted from an authority file. It appears in field 835 in a record in which subfield 001a – Record status contains code "d" – deleted record or "r" – split record.

This subfield contains the access point which has replaced the deleted access point in 2XX field.

835d Date of the transaction

This subfield contains the date of the transaction in the form YYYYMMDD. Subfield is mandatory if field 835 is used.
