COMARC/A | March | 2018 |
This field contains coded data relating to geographical names.
Subfields d, e, f and g contain co-ordinates of points on Earth or other celestial bodies. Each subfield is fixed at 8 characters and contains the following data:
hemisphere designation – one character ("w" = west, "e" = east, "n" = north, "s" = south
degrees (3 numeric characters)
minutes (2 numeric characters)
seconds (2 numeric characters)
The numbers are right justified. Unused spaces are filled with zeros.
If the area co-ordinates are given for a centre point and not for outside limits, the longitude and latitude of the central axes are each recorded twice, in subfields d and e (dolžino) (longitude) and subfields f and g (latitude).
